It's true. He needs a high end audio person to choose a better mic. I do not tune in unless I know there will be no background noise- I want to hear every word of his brilliance.
The best place to find such techies is at the local community college music or computer science department through Craig’s list. There is no reason to continue to endure chronic muffling. Save our country faster!
This was very good. I think a key moment you missed was the 2012 campaign over the marriage amendment. Minnesota was one of the first states who fought anti-marriage measures not with mealy-mouthed "civil unions are good"-type messaging, but with a straight-up "love is love so let's let people love each other" - a direct attack on the homophobia of the amendment and a strident defense of everyone having the right to marry who they want. As I say, most other states didn't take that route in their campaigns. This gave us a template for attacking the Right that was much more forthright than in other states.
I also really think you can't overstate the degree to which the whole Trump admin's attack on Minnesota is a reaction specifically to Ilhan Omar. As soon as she became a national figure, during her 2018 run for Congress, the Right started coming here to talk about Minneapolis as a war zone, to accuse Somali Minnesotans of funneling Medicaid and food stamp money to terrorists, and so on. She was the catalyst for so much of this hate.
A general strike is never just a workplace action. Wherever it has happened it has been a widespread social protest which must by definition include small business owners. Organising small business is absolutely vital in building solidarity and if it can’t be done, you have lost.
Love Anat's look. It's formidable!
Mike’s mic is consistently fuzzy… 🥸

Thank you both!
